RTE’s ‘The Big Bang Theory’ returns to the Irish television schedule for a fifth series on Sunday, February 28.
The series is being produced by Mark Wahlberg, who is in the middle of filming the fifth instalment of his blockbuster movie ‘The King of Comedy’.
“We’re excited to bring The Black back to the airwaves in a new way for Irish audiences,” said RTE Ireland’s chief executive, Peter O’Sullivan.
“It is an exciting time to be an Irish broadcaster and it’s an exciting programme for our fans.”
The series, which will be shown on BBC One on Sunday nights, will see the first episode of the show, titled ‘The Ghost’, premier on Sunday night at 9pm on RTE.
The series will also be available on BBC iPlayer and on the BBC iSearch app.
In addition, RTE will be launching the first series of the new Irish series on the iPlayer channel on Monday, February 29.
The Big Beat podcast will also make its Irish debut on BBC Two on Monday nights.
